The Cash and Trade Proc Rep 5 is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex cash & trade operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all checks received are cleared within the agreed TAT
- Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and within TAT
- Ensure daily cash flow reporting is done accurately within the cutoffs stipulated by treasury
- Coordination between Citibank and CBB regarding inward/outward clearing
- Ensure daily nostro and internal reconciliation is performed and discrepancies are highlighted and investigated timely.
- Ensure Blocking/Unblocking requests from Bahrain courts via the Central Bank Portal are processed/approved within the mandated timeline end to end
- Receive and verify the completeness of all documentation for manual fund transfers instructions, standing orders and Direct Debits.
- Ensure check books are issued timely including echecks.
- Ensure all MIS is updated timely
- Ensure all controls are met for checks & transactions related activities
- Contribute to the development of improved processes within Trade and Cash Operations.
- Contribute to projects in terms of participation in User Acceptance Testing and other associated activities.
- Anticipate and respond to requests related to transactions from internal and external clients and vendors
- Resolve processing related issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct analysis
- Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Provide recommendations to increase the efficiency of the daily work of the transaction processing team
- Prepare monthly proofs
- Review and process invoices timely.
- Ensuring tight control over Nostro open items
- Assist supervisors in performing Managers Control Assessment testing for the department
- Ensure accuracy of processing with no operational losses and with zero defect
- Ensuring timely collation of regulatory reporting’s on a periodic basis
- Ensure clean desk policy is adhered to and all documents/records/files are kept under locked cabinet overnight
- Respond to all queries in a prompt and courteous manner and keep a record of all queries
- Escalate issues and potential risks promptly to the Unit Head / Deputy.
- Handling all month-end & month-beginning activities and ensure MIS/reports are published and sent in a timely fashion

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
**Education**:

- University graduate
