**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Permit Application and Processing**:
- Ensure all permits are obtained in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations.
- Facilitate and coordinate the review and approval process with regulatory agencies.
- **Document Management**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all permits, approvals, and related documentation.
- Ensure all project stakeholders have access to necessary permit information.
- Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewals of permits, licenses, and certifications.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**:
- Act as a liaison between project teams (e.g., engineers, architects, and contractors) and regulatory authorities.
- Address questions, concerns, or requests for additional information during the permitting process.
- **Compliance Monitoring**:
- Review project plans and activities to ensure compliance with permit conditions and applicable regulations.
- Identify and resolve potential compliance issues, ensuring that project work is not delayed.
- Stay updated on changing regulations and permit requirements to ensure projects align with the latest standards.
- **Project Support**:
- Work with project managers to establish timelines and ensure permits are secured in accordance with project schedules.
- Provide guidance to the project team on permitting requirements for specific tasks or locations.
- Support project closeout by ensuring all compliance documentation is complete and properly filed.
- **Reporting**:
- Notify management of any delays, denials, or challenges during the permitting process.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering, or project management) is preferred.
- Proven experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or project coordination, preferably within construction or engineering industries.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and land use.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with regulatory agencies and project teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel) and project management tools.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical documents (preferred).
