**Job Purpose**

Plans, directs and coordinates air & sea freight activities engaged in the economical movement of inbound and outbound. Supervise duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area and in conjunction with appropriate policies / procedural adherence in order to ensure an effective and efficient operation.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Oversees all aspects of Air & sea Freight procedures.
- Oversees documentation activities with customer & agent of the import & export operations.
- Provides technical expertise to staff on all matters relating to Air Freight & sea freight.
- Provides value added services to existing and potential clients.
- Monthly profit and statistical reports; ensures billing & payables are kept up to date
- Maintains employee records, attendance, evaluations and discipline.
- Supervises office administration and a designated group of people.
- Responsible for selection of carriers & routing of shipments.
- Confers with the respective managers to produce internal company communications
- Ensures the accuracy of documents movement with related departments.
- Oversees the representation of a positive organizational image and builds excellent relations.
- Supervises, coordinates and participates in meetings / tasks as required.
- Efficiently updates, maintains database&related records pertaining to the job
- Delegates work assignments for assigned personnel.
- Development and motivation of staff; training identification and requisitioning to Line manager.
- Appropriate monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison.
- Provides regular update to the Line Manager.
