Manama, Bahrain Propel Consult Full time

To Perform proper and efficient planning and allocation of the BIA hard resources (aircraft parking stands, gates, check-in counters and baggage carrousels) in order to achieve smooth and safe airport operations.
- Responsible to achieve seamless coordination with all Airport partners to ensure that the entire airport processes function well with high levels of resource utilizations
- Ensure operational continuity during emergencies and prevents disruptions to operational processes.
- Perform the planning and allocation of hard resources (parking stands, gates, check-in counters and baggage carousels) of BIA using the resources management/planning system in order to achieve safe and smooth operations
- Day to day flight data processing and validation on the operational day and the next day in the AODB and report any data discrepancy to Flight Data Management Officer
- Improve operational efficiency and reinforce customer satisfaction with a better use of hard resources and a clear visibility on decisions and their impacts on SLAs
- Work closely with the Duty Manager to provide information on current status of operations, to keep the concerned parties informed of any operation out of the ordinary and to advise on any business continuity decisions that may need to be taken
- Efficient resources planning for the occasional / exceptional events such as VIP, sporting, adverse weather conditions, seasonal flights such as teachers and flights
- Registration of the daily resources allocations activities with pertaining issues (if any) in the APOC Log file.
**Qualification & Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management or similar
- 3 years’ work experience in airport operations.
- Sound knowledge of national and international civil aviation standards and recommended practices.
- Good knowledge of Airport manual, emergency procedures and Department's SOPs.
- Good knowledge in airport's resources and systems (flight Information data system, stands, gates check-in counters and baggage carrousels)
- Work in a challenging environment both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of aircraft characteristics and airside operations
- Excellent in problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent in internal and external customer service skills
- High level written and speaking communication skills with ability to prepare statistical reports
- Ability to work in high pressure environment with demanding deadlines
- Proactive and with a positive attitude towards colleagues, management and stakeholders

**Salary**: BD656.000 - BD842.000 per month
