Accounting Leadership Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in adherence to local and international standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
  • Maintaining effective cash flow forecasting, budgeting processes, and tax compliance are crucial aspects of this role.
  • The individual will ensure seamless external audit coordination, collaborating with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Promoting internal controls and upholding company policies and financial regulations is essential.
  • This position requires delivering actionable financial insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • The Accounting Professional will review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments prepared by the accounting team.
  • Fostering a high-performing accounting team through mentorship, supervision, and professional development is vital.
  • Supporting ERP or financial software implementation, maintenance, and enhancements is also an important responsibility.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance (Master's degree or MBA preferred) is required.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desired.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience is necessary.
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are necessary.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
