Job Description

The Senior Credit Risk Manager will play a critical role in preparing, reviewing, and recommending credit facilities for a portfolio of large corporate clients. This involves ensuring timely submission of credit applications, conducting client visits, and coordinating with the coverage team to gather necessary information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of credit applications, including coordination with the coverage team.
  • Conduct regular client visits and due diligence to assess creditworthiness.
  • Monitor accounts regularly and follow up with business units to ensure compliance with approval conditions.
  • Identify early warning indicators and work with business units to develop suitable action plans.
  • Review exception and portfolio reports to provide recommendations on risk appetite, ratings, and classification.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking sector, with at least 3 years in similar positions with increasing responsibilities in the credit function.
  • Proven experience in credit management of large corporates.
