Job Description

As an expert coffee professional at Calo Cafe, you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate our state-of-the-art coffee machines, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

You'll work closely with our cafe manager to ensure seamless daily operations, adhere to our strict quality standards, and provide top-notch service to our patrons.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare specialty coffees using precision brewing techniques and strict adherence to recipes;
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to our customers, anticipating their needs and preferences;
  • Ensure timely and efficient operation of the cafe, adhering to our service standards;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment;
  • Enforce sanitation regulations and safety protocols to guarantee a secure and healthy experience for all;


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista in a fast-paced cafe environment;
  • A certified barista certificate or equivalent qualification;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
  • A strong understanding of coffee production processes and ingredients;
  • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations;
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with standard office software;
