We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our data center, including system monitoring, backup execution, and job scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 support for backend Unix systems and related applications;">
  • Participate in DR drills and system monitoring using tools like HP Open View and BMC Patrol;">
  • Monitor Job Scheduler using tools like Control M;">
  • Execute Change Control procedures;">
  • Daily reporting and dashboard updates;">
  • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems;">
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members;">
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of operating processes and procedures;">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science or Management Information Systems supplemented with current technology courses;">
  • Formal basic training in Unix systems;">
  • Formal training in the operations of FLEXCUBE and MUREX applications;">
  • Good experience as an operations supervisor in a banking/financial organization using FLEXCUBE as their Core banking system and/or MUREX as their Treasury system;">
  • Basic Unix skill sets and 1+ years of current L1 system admin UNIX skills;">
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FLEXCUBE and MUREX products;">
  • Knowledge of IT Operations related processes and procedures including audits, DR exercises;">
  • General operator/admin L1 skills on UNIX (AIX, Solaris);">
  • General awareness of IT Infrastructure technologies, topologies, and protocols;">
  • Familiarity with Job Scheduling concepts;">
  • Exposure to operations of backup software like Legato and monitoring systems like BMC patrol, HP Open View;">
  • Highly developed verbal and written communications skills;">
  • Ability to work/lead effectively in a team;">
  • Flexibility and adaptability;">
