We are seeking passionate and dynamic guest focused professionals who deliver exceptional customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

Responsibilities

As a member of the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for daily assigned duties as instructed by supervisors while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving work assignments, keys and supplies from supervisors and accurately recording them
  • Cleaning rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties
  • Ensuring fire exits and stairways are clear of any obstruction
  • Reporting and immediately addressing any maintenance work required
  • Picking up litter from corridors and pathways
  • Vacuuming carpet and upholstered furniture, dusting and wiping furniture, emptying ashtrays and wastebaskets
  • Making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors and floors and polishing brass and metal
  • Replenishing bathroom supplies and room supplies
  • Tidying and arranging neatly guest toilet articles on vanity tops and spot cleaning carpets when necessary
  • Cleaning and maintaining the neatness of guest corridors, service pantries and service areas at all times
  • Removing Room Service trays and trollies from guestrooms and corridors
  • Informing valet services to collect guests' clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You should also possess basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
