Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Café Operations to join our team. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Business Performance:
    • Oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
    • Analysis of sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency to inform business decisions.
    • Implementation of cost control measures to maximize profitability.
    • Compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
  • Team Leadership & Staff Management:
    • Recruitment efforts and talent management to uphold company standards.
    • Training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Performance evaluations, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Customer Service & Quality Control:
    • Delivery of exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of customer complaints.
    • Monitoring of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all locations.
    • Initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand reputation.
  • Marketing & Business Development:
    • Collaboration with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and increase footfall.
    • Identification of opportunities to expand business operations and improve revenue streams.
    • Development of strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer retention.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
    • Proper inventory management and stock control at all outlets.
    • Closely working with suppliers to maintain product availability and quality.
    • Implementation of efficient cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience in the café industry, preferably in international franchises.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Willingsness to travel between locations as needed.
