Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Café Operations to join our team. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Business Performance:
- Oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
- Analysis of sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency to inform business decisions.
- Implementation of cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
- Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Recruitment efforts and talent management to uphold company standards.
- Training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Performance evaluations, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Customer Service & Quality Control:
- Delivery of exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of customer complaints.
- Monitoring of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all locations.
- Initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand reputation.
- Marketing & Business Development:
- Collaboration with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and increase footfall.
- Identification of opportunities to expand business operations and improve revenue streams.
- Development of strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer retention.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Proper inventory management and stock control at all outlets.
- Closely working with suppliers to maintain product availability and quality.
- Implementation of efficient cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience in the café industry, preferably in international franchises.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively.
- Knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Willingsness to travel between locations as needed.
