Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, scheduling, executing and leading soft services operations at airside, landside, ancillary buildings and external associated facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, with experience in managing large-scale cleaning operations or industrial services contracts.

The key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance activities to ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness, hygiene and FOD safety
  • Liaising with FM consolidated maintenance teams to minimize disruption to amenities availability
  • Leading a team of in-house and contractor personnel to execute operational activities
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Maintaining stocks and contractor minimum inventory levels
  • Reporting on issues of escalation and operations updates to management

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, hospitality, business administration or equivalent, and will be familiar with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements.

A working knowledge of Maximo, CAFM systems, aviation security and airside safety protocols, as well as FOD safety and aerodrome safety measures, is also essential.

This is a full-time position, reporting directly to Senior Management, with a competitive salary package offered by Bahrain Airport Company.
