The role of the Medical Records Specialist is pivotal in maintaining patient trust and facilitating high-quality care.
- Record keeping, data entry and management of electronic health records ensure up-to-date patient information is accurate and readily accessible to healthcare providers.
This position ensures that all medical records are properly stored, retrieved and disposed of in accordance with regulatory requirements, confidentiality protocols, and hospital policies.
- Organize and index medical files ensuring timely retrieval by authorized personnel when requested.
