About the Role:
The Gulf Air Group seeks a highly skilled Operations Control Manager to join its team. This role is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), ensuring that day-to-day activities align with company policies and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor system situations, including fleet, crew, stations, and weather, to anticipate disruptions and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with operations controllers, providing support and guidance on problem-solving and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with relevant functions, such as Gulf Air Tec Services, MCC, Flight Dispatch, and Crew Control, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Implement schedule changes with minimal impact on the system, informing relevant parties accordingly.
- Coordinate emergency responses and maintain accurate information flow between IOC teams.
Requirements:
- Higher National Diploma in a technical subject.
- Hold an FAA Dispatcher or ICAO Flight Operations Officer License, or have completed a similar course syllabus.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Minimum 8 years of experience within the Operations Department of a major international airline, with at least 2 successful years in Operations Control.
- Substantial experience with automated operations control systems: Airops, WOTP, and RIO.
