About the Role

Gulf Air Group is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Management Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial department, you will play a critical role in driving passenger and revenue growth through effective management of Decision Support Systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the development and maintenance of Gulf Air's critical systems within Revenue Management with relevant System vendors.
  • Take ownership of documenting requirements and developing systems in coordination with vendors.
  • Assess system performance in terms of response times and accuracy of inputs and outputs impacting passenger and revenue growth.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental activities, ensuring necessary support for decision-making impacting revenue and passenger growth.
  • Manage and lead Revenue Management Systems projects related to Revenue Optimizer, Revenue Integrity, Dynamic Availability, Sabre Sonic Inventory, Contract Manager, Fares Manager, and Merchandising Manager.
  • Own configuration and maintenance of critical business rules, system strategies, and other system configurations in Revenue Optimizer, Revenue Integrity, Dynamic Availability, and Sabre Sonic Inventory Systems.
  • Track and report critical KPIs for Pricing & Revenue Management and wider Commercial Teams, including stakeholders in the Gulf Air Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Influence Network Revenue Management strategy through interaction with key personnel in Pricing, Tariffs, Interline/Offline, and Revenue Management teams.

Requirements

  • High standard of education, preferably to degree level in IT, Business, or Numerate discipline.
  • Excellent written/spoken English language, equivalent to HND.
  • High level of proficiency using Analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of 5 years airline experience, ideally within an IT/numerate/analytical environment.
  • Reasonable knowledge in airline reservations, inventory management, pricing, and information systems.
