OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team as a Sewer Infrastructure Specialist. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of sewer network construction and infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on sewer systems and infrastructure projects. Experience in the GCC region, particularly in Bahrain, is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage civil engineering works related to the Sewer Scheme Supervision Project.
- Oversee the construction of sewer networks, including pipeline laying, manhole construction, and micro-tunneling.
- Review and approve construction materials, methods, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and OH&S requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of the works and materials.
- Review and approve shop drawings and other submittals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with contractors, resolving technical issues during construction.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on sewer systems and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control practices.
- Solid understanding of financial management and resource planning within an engineering consultancy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
