We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager for an Italian fine dining restaurant to oversee all aspects of the business. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality menu and motivating staff to provide excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the restaurant service runs smoothly, adhering to the General Manager's direction.
  2. Guide employees to follow and respect the restaurant's standards.
  3. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  4. Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and tasks, following the Operational Standards.
  5. Supervise Opening, Interval, and Closing duties for FOH departments.
  6. Set goals for performance achievements, including training and briefing on policies.

Operations:

  1. Support the team in understanding performance, targets, and goals.
  2. Schedule work hours and shifts.
  3. Share company updates, financial results, and new objectives.
  4. Assist the management team in resolving emergencies, such as quality or customer problems escalated to the team.
  5. Contribute to team retention through 'one-on-one' meetings and appraisals tailored to the position.
  6. Be involved in hiring and firing activities.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role in Italian cuisine.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
  3. Capacity to make decisions supporting the Management team.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills with guests and all departments.
  5. Effective leadership abilities, promoting open communication among employees.
  6. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  7. Ability to manage conflict well, resolve issues, and develop successful relationships.
