Business Development Representative for Insurance Sales

The function of a sales executive at RESO entails producing new business and persuading potential customers to purchase insurance products. This involves obtaining referrals and leads from various sources, such as lead generation activities, and contributing to the department's function of collecting data and converting it into qualified leads.
Responsibilities include serving customers by selling insurance products, reaching individuals to solicit sales for goods or services, and recommending changes in products, service, and policy based on results and competitive developments.
A key aspect of this role is resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
To excel in this position, you should maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
This role requires delivering prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe insurance products or services, to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service.
You will also be responsible for explaining products or services and prices, answering questions from customers, and maintaining records of contacts, accounts, and orders in the company's system.
Furthermore, you will obtain customer information, such as names, addresses, and payment methods, and enter orders into computers.
This position also involves obtaining names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as referrals, cold calling, and any other legal means.
As a sales executive, you will assist and support the line manager by taking tasks assigned by them when necessary.
In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of high school certification, diploma, and some form of work experience.
We require proven sales experience, strong communication skills, good selling skills, positive energy, and teamwork ethos.
Candidates should also have excellent written and oral communication skills, a good understanding of insurance services, and be highly computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office Products.
A successful candidate should be able to persuade others to change their minds or behavior, give full attention to what other people are saying, and actively look for ways to help people.
