About the RoleThe Front Desk Receptionist is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Welcome and register guests, handle requests, and adhere to credit policies.
- Efficiently manage reservations, changes, and cancellations.
- Assign rooms, pre-register guests, and assist VIPs and returning guests.
- Coordinate with Concierge staff for guest luggage and requests.
- Address guest problems or complaints professionally.
- Utilize the computer system for reports and special requests.
- Keep support departments informed of guest needs.
The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a balanced cash bank and reconciling transactions at shift end.
- Knowing hotel facilities hours and service codes.
- Understanding roles of other front office staff.
- Handling emergency procedures professionally.
- Performing as night receptionist and assisting with night audits.
- Performing delegated tasks from management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous Front Desk experience, preferably in luxury settings.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability.
- Customer service experience and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork ability.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel; knowledge of OPERA or similar PMS and cashiering experience preferred.
