Role Overview
The Guest Service Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that guests receive an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out.
This position requires the ability to effectively manage the Front Office Team, assign tasks, and instruct staff members in details of work. The Guest Service Executive is also responsible for performing various daily tasks, such as managing front desk operations, determining room and rate availability, and making decisions that are in the best interest of the hotel.
- Supervise and lead the Front Office Team, including Guest Service Agents, Operators, and Bell Attendants.
- Manage front desk operations by completing a checklist of important daily tasks.
- Determine room and rate availability and make decisions that are in the best interest of the hotel.
- Assist staff members with any questions or requests.
- Resolve customer complaints by conducting thorough investigations and providing effective resolutions.
- Prepare and conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate effectively with staff and provide them with necessary information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for a supervisor or manager.
- Ensure a detailed handover between shifts, including business volume, special guests, tasks to be clarified/completed, and special events.
