Job Overview

Housekeeping Supervisor: A Key Role in Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences

This is a supervisory position within the Housekeeping Department, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Allocate work duties to Team Members effectively, ensuring efficient operation of the department.
  • Conduct regular inspections of check-out rooms and spot checks of occupied rooms to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
  • Regularly inspect service areas, store rooms, and corridors to ensure adherence to hotel brand standards.
  • Schedule and supervise deep cleaning projects and other tasks to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Manage and train Room Attendants and other Team Members to meet performance standards, promoting a positive working environment.
  • Maintain stock control and equipment efficiently, minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including VIP and special requirements, to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to hotel brand standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within Housekeeping, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest service, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
