New Product Development Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Product Development (NPD) professional to manage new product development projects, brainstorm ideas for new products or existing product modifications, analyze and evaluate trial results, and communicate with stakeholders for product launches and sourcing.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of new product development, from conceptualization to launch. They will need to research consumer markets, develop new product concepts and prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in new product development and a strong understanding of food safety and quality control regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new product development. Develop new product concepts and prototypes based on research findings.
  • Product Launch Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute product launches. Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted to regulatory agencies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards. Conduct regular quality control checks to identify any issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve business objectives. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the food industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
