Business Development Manager Job Opportunity
\Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in business development? We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key customers.
\As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key customers.
\To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and work independently. You will also need to have a proven track record of success in business development and sales.
\Key responsibilities of the job include:

- Developing and implementing business growth strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base\
- Identifying new business opportunities through market research and analysis\
- Building strong relationships with key customers through regular communication and follow-up\
- Working closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans\
- Providing coaching and support to sales team members to ensure they are meeting their targets\
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities\
- Preparing and presenting business cases to senior management to secure funding for new initiatives\
- Collaborating with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes\
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in business development and sales\
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures\
- Performing other duties as assigned by management\
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities through market research and development of marketing initiatives\
- Exploring business development opportunities with government authorities and relevant parties\
- Identifying, pursuing, and acquiring profitable business relationships with key customers\
- Developing major leads, conducting pre-proposal visitations, and assisting technical staff with proposal preparation\
- Leading negotiations to obtain new customers and supporting teams in difficult negotiations to secure critical sales\
- Discussing with peers to communicate sales problems, business observations, prospect feedback, etc.\
- Understanding key trends and developments impacting business and identifying change needs in business development plans\
- Regularly enhancing quality or value of existing business development methods and techniques and resolving problems that may not be clearly defined\
- Convincing external parties such as skeptical clients, institutions, etc. who are skeptical or unwilling to accept proposals or where decision-making process and standards are defined and mandatory\
- Supervising teams for achievement of goals by assigning work, timelines, reviewing output, and supporting performance management\
- Supporting to recruit, motivate, develop, and coach team members\
