About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing a Seamless Operating Model: Shape a seamless, effective operating model, across all business verticals (food & Q-commerce)
  • Maximising Synergies: Maximise synergies across teams, programs and verticals, and build a culture of growth
  • Spearheading OKRs: Define quarterly Objectives and Key Results for the Bahrain team
  • Collaborating with Product and Technology: Act as the key 'customer' for the Product and Technology organization, collaborating to set priorities and solve problems

You will have full ownership of the performance of Bahrain, which includes:

  • Designing and Executing Strategy: Designing and executing the strategy and business plan for food and Q-commerce in Bahrain
  • Performance Management: Preparing and negotiating annual targets, ensuring EBITDA targets are met on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis, and recommending additional investments if necessary
  • Team Leadership: Leading a large, diverse team across multiple programs and verticals
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations in key functions such as logistics, marketing, sales, performance and partnerships, while representing the company in legal matters, public relations, communications, and government relations
  • Growth Opportunities: Identifying and analysing opportunities for accelerated growth across various programs and verticals
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leveraging data to drive decision making, whether to address day-to-day problems, or tackle long term opportunities
  • Transformational Programs: Launching local, regional, and global transformational programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that can scale globally
