Electrical Specialist Job Description

Overview of the Role:

  • Seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to perform electrical trade functions, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for electric energy generation, distribution, or utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and repair of various electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment based on blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications.
  • Standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be Licensed as an Electrical Specialist with training and certification per industry standards.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Specialist with knowledge of codes and regulations.
  • Skill Set: General knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the electrical trade, excellent communication skills in English, and ability to read and interpret Work Orders, parts requests, drawings/schematics/blueprints, and manuals.
