Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Trade Finance Operations expert to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising a team of staff, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the workflow of other colleagues, providing guidance and direction to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the execution of operational strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Carry out clerical, data input, reconciliation, and monitoring services, adhering to all specified processes and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice to less experienced team members on Trade Finance products.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and internal requests with case investigation.
  • Ensure effective communication and dissemination of information to all staff.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, bank products, and services to adopt best practices.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new IT systems and products.
  • Prepare reports and escalate irregularities to management.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations
  • Bachelor's degree or qualification in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business, or Risk Management
  • Professional Qualification related to Business or Management
  • At least two ICC International certifications from CITF, CDCS, CSDG
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ICC rules and standards for Trade Finance products
  • Excellent understanding of Trade Finance products, services, operations, and technology
  • Familiarity with Change Management Methodologies
  • Proven experience in IT systems user acceptance testing
  • Ability to understand complicated product management monitoring requirements
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and project documentation
