Job Opportunity

The role of a SCIF Security Officer entails supporting the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and its subordinate commands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with security directives through effective SCIF management services.
  • Collaborate operationally with the G-2 Special Security Office to maintain SCI level security.
  • Execute special security tasks including physical, personnel, and information security at SCI level.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and accreditation documents for the interpretation of security directives.
  • Oversee the accounting, storage, and disposition of SCI materials.
  • Report and investigate SCI violations and security incidents; develop damage and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Prior experience in executing special security tasks, including physical, personnel, and information security at SCI level.
  • At least ten years of military experience.
Work Environment and Benefits
  • 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Task Force 51/5; Naval Support Activity Bahrain; Manama, Bahrain.
  • Travel is required for this role, supporting government needs across multiple countries in the CENTCOM AOR, with ability to support travel on short notice, including OCONUS locations.
