**Reports To**: Group Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer

**About the Role**:
We are hiring an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, consolidations, audits, and compliance across international operations. This is a hands-on role based in Bahrain, ideal for a finance professional with international experience and strong technical accounting skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations
- Manage group audits from planning to completion
- Oversee tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., VAT, corporate tax)
- Support acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
- Review and finalize completion accounts for acquisitions and divestitures
- Provide technical accounting advice to senior management
- Ensure compliance for any regulated entities within the group
- Improve finance systems, reporting tools, and internal controls
- Maintain and update the group accounting manual
- Support legal entity simplification and intercompany alignment

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent (preferred)
- 5 to 7 years in senior accounting or finance roles
- Experience in group reporting and international/multi-entity environments

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Proficiency in Xero accounting software (required)
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations across jurisdictions
- Experience managing audits and working with external advisors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
