A leading Real Estate Developer & Construction Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking to employ a Junior Civil Draftsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of our construction projects.

Job Description:

  • Assist in preparing 2D civil drawings such as site layouts, utility plans, and basic structural details under the guidance of senior draftsmen and engineers.
  • Support the preparation of simple 3D models when required.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to understand project requirements and drafting tasks.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and formats.
  • Revise and update drawings as per feedback and redlines from engineers or senior draftsmen.
  • Help maintain drawing files and project documentation in an organized manner.
  • Participate in quantity take-offs and preparing basic material schedules.
  • Assist in preparing drawings for permit applications and approvals.
  • Contribute to as-built drawings during and after project completion.
  • Follow up on drawing revisions and ensure all changes are documented properly.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Draftsman in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Familiarity with software like Revit, SketchUp, or Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and drafting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering sketches and plans.
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from senior staff.
  • Basic communication skills.
