A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day

No two days are alike, but you'll mostly be:

  • Prepare and cook Arabic dishes under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure all mise en place is ready before each service period.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation according to hotel standards.
  • Uphold the authenticity of traditional Arabic recipes while supporting menu innovation.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored, rotated, and handled.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the colleagues' kitchen.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Take on additional tasks as required, showing flexibility and teamwork.

What We Need from You

  • At least 2 year of experience as a Commis in a 5 star hotel
  • Passion for cooking and knowledge of Arabic cuisine.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
