Position Summary:
The IT Supervisor will oversee the daily IT operations of the hotel, ensuring reliable performance of all technology systems that support both staff and guest services. This role requires strong technical expertise in networking and server administration, with hands-on experience in managing IT systems within a hospitality environment. The IT Supervisor will also coordinate with vendors, assist with project implementation, and provide technical leadership to ensure smooth and secure IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Network & Server Management

Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and firewalls.

Manage servers, storage, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.

Monitor system and network performance to ensure uptime and security.

Hospitality Systems Support
Provide technical support for hotel systems such as PMS (Opera, Protel), POS (Micros, Simphony), IPTV, and guest Wi-Fi.

Ensure seamless integration and availability of guest-facing technologies.

Operational Support
Respond to IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution.

Support staff with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Monitor backups and disaster recovery processes.

Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain IT security measures, including antivirus, firewall, and access controls.

Ensure compliance with data protection policies and hospitality IT standards.

Liaise with external vendors for IT equipment, services, and maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of IT experience in networking and server administration (hospitality industry experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, routers, Wi-Fi solutions).

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365.

Familiarity with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, and VoIP.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus.
