Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute civil construction works on-site in line with approved drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Act as the focal point for coordination with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Monitor daily site activities, track progress against schedules, and prepare detailed daily/weekly progress reports for management review.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, or resource bottlenecks early and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are upheld and all materials and workmanship comply with approved submittals and specifications.
  • Review and verify material approvals, inspection requests, and method statements in accordance with project requirements.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, promoting a safe and compliant work culture on-site.
  • Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, procurement schedules, and other project-related documentation.
  • Support project managers in planning, manpower allocation, and resource optimization to achieve project targets.
  • Liaise with design and technical teams to resolve engineering and construction challenges efficiently.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping, including drawings, inspection reports, as-built documentation, and project correspondences.
  • Participate in coordination and progress meetings, providing technical inputs and updates on site issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for efficiency, value engineering, and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of proven experience in site supervision and civil construction, preferably in large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and project scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
  • Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures and safety practices in construction projects.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving site-related challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
