Job Description

Chef de Partie is responsible for the production of all pastry items following standard recipes and ensuring the highest quality products. This role includes supervising colleagues efficiently while striving to keep working hours optimal without compromising quality. The Chef de Partie must maintain hygiene and safety standards as per company guidelines and create a departmental culture of motivation, team spirit, and creativity.

General Duties
  1. Produce pastries, cakes, desserts, chocolates, petit fours, and ice cream, ensuring compliance with prescribed recipes and specifications.
  2. Assist in keeping records on stock levels and store all semi-finished and finished bakery products properly to minimize spoilage.
  3. Monitor the proper handling and storage of all produce to minimize spoilage.
  4. Supervise all pastry service throughout the property.
  5. Ensure the smooth running of this section, maintaining the standards of cuisine and hygiene.
  6. Standardize and communicate all pastry recipes to pastry personnel.
  7. Ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications.
  8. Promote a positive working atmosphere.
  9. Work well independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience at a pastry supervisor level.
  2. Strong basic knowledge and skills in pastry and bakery.
  3. Solid understanding of western pastry basics.
  4. Luxury 5-star experience is a must.
