Develop, plan, manage, and control procurement contracts and purchasing to ensure the Group's contract obligations are safeguarded and business requirements are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Review, manage, and negotiate contracts/purchases of unlimited value to ensure maximum benefits are achieved and the Group's legal rights are protected.
Monitor contract implementation, identify potential problems, and analyse corrective actions to limit supplier failures.
Ensure customer and supplier relationships are efficiently managed to enhance customer satisfaction and continuity of provision of quality products.
Manage supplier relationships, assuming the leading role in contracts negotiations, and act as an ambassador for the Group with other companies.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage the Group's procurement process.
- Act as an escalation point in disputes with suppliers.
- Assist users and the Legal department in areas of dispute with supplier performance.
- Support the Legal department in contract preparation and negotiations.
- Engage with the Legal department on all legal issues affecting contracts and purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing desired.
- 8 years of experience in Procurement Management, comprehensive knowledge of Bahrain Tender Law, and high-level professional skills.
