Business Development Director for Ancillary Revenue Growth

At Gulf Air Group, we are seeking a Business Development Director to lead our ancillary revenue growth initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue from non-ticket sources, including food and beverage, baggage handling, and travel insurance.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in ancillary customer or commercial plus IT facing roles. A bachelor's degree in business management or sales is required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a functional and implementable 5-year plan for ancillary services along with Sales Management
  • Designing and implementing policies and procedures regarding Ancillary Services across all stakeholders
  • Managing procurement processes for new product providers
  • Day-to-day management of ancillary product & services, coordinating with internal departments and third-party providers
  • Maintaining an overview of competitors' ancillary activities and partners, tracking revenue and related costs

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead interdisciplinary project teams and define responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
