Senior Strategic Execution Manager and Team Lead

ROLE PURPOSE
- To fill the purpose the individual will be required to work on the development, production and delivery of entire project and work with the broader proposition and account management teams and take the lead on building relationships with the various stakeholders in the industry.
We see two key focus areas for the role:
- 1. Team Lead for a team of Execution Specialists delivering on strategic projects and events covering the Financial Services, Capital Markets, Islamic Finance, Risk & Compliance and Sustainable Finance industries.
2. Manage the entire project life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities that delivers our knowledge solutions to key and strategic clients. This includes direct management of projects, and oversight over the team deliverables.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team leader: managing a team of currently two individuals and management of strategic projects / events supporting propositions, products, or services that are global in scope and span multiple businesses.
- Special focus is Financial Services, Capital Markets, Islamic Finance, Risk & Compliance and Sustainable Finance
- Event projects may include large scale conferences, roundtables, and workshops; both physical and virtual in nature.
- Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
- Delivering events on time and within budget.
- Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support for the team
- Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
- Communicating, maintaining, and developing client relationships.
- Developing event themes, key messages, concept notes, agendas, and session briefs, in line with client objectives.
- Researching and suggesting suitable speakers and managing the speaker onboarding and briefing process.
- Supporting the development of sponsorship packages, identifying benefits and costs for sponsors and managing the onboarding of sponsors.
- Managing operational and- administrative functions
- to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
- Managing development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials.
- Preparing written materials including marketing copy, business communications, reports and presentation scripts.
- Analysing marketing and communications programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
- Required to coordinate closely with internal teams.
- Team player, with a flexible attitude and approach.

- PROFESSIONAL AND ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Marketing and communication or Business administration. Advanced degree may be preferred.
- Strong communications skills in English (Arabic is a plus) including proven record of developing written material.
- Financial background is a plus
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Work experience in the Islamic finance industry is preferable
