**What You'll Do**:

- Report to work on time and check the schedule the day before.
- Attend daily 15-minute training and present one topic monthly.
- Effectively operates the department within his/her team.
- Attends daily briefing
- Control of overtime (any overtime to be pre-approved by Exec. Chef/Production Manager)
- Proper handling of overproduction and wastage.
- Assist Sous Chef and/or Exec Chef/Production Manager where needed.
- Prepares complete line products needed in the department.
- Prepares the daily production charts to make sure that quantities are filed incorrectly and production is made accordingly; A par stock is to be established to avoid overproduction.
- Prepares orders for the storeroom according to production charts.
- Follows (FIFO) First Out Procedures.
- Directs and supervises the whole team in their work.
- Promotes and maintain effective communication between supervisor and each other.
- Checks food presentation and standards.
- Ensure implementation of safety standards.
- Follows procedures with the use of cleaning supplies.
- Maintains the sanitary standards and “Clean as you Go” policy.
- Attends all kitchen meetings and comes up with feedback and/or suggestions.
- Maintains short hair and clean fingernails at all times. No beard is allowed.
- No watches or rings or other jewelry to be worn during work.
- Never goes home with Kitopi’s uniform.s
- Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than 54 hours per week.

**What Are We Looking For?**:

- Previous experience working in a similar environment is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills related to the role
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Innovative
- Pro-active and reliable
- Able to work alone and within a team
- A high school diploma and a good level of English are essential
