We are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven **Business Development Manager** to lead our efforts in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and organizing impactful AI-related events.
**Role Overview**
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential customers, and driving the sales pipeline. In addition to driving business development initiatives, you will play a key role in organizing both in-person and online events, such as workshops and industry-focused gatherings, to build awareness around Servable’s solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about bringing innovative AI solutions to enterprise clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Market Research & Strategy**:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and target industries.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
**Lead Generation & Pipeline Management**:
- Identify, engage, and qualify potential enterprise clients in target markets.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, tracking progress through the sales cycle.
**Relationship Building**:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing clients.
- Represent Servable at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
**Event Planning & Execution**:
- Organize and manage in-person events such as AI workshops, meetups, and industry-focused gatherings.
- Plan and host online events, including webinars and virtual workshops, to engage potential clients and industry leaders.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop content and ensure successful event execution.
**Collaborating with Sales & Marketing**:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials that support business development efforts.
**Customer Insights & Feedback**:
- Gather insights from customer interactions to inform product development and strategic planning.
- Provide feedback on customer pain points, needs, and industry trends to improve Servable’s offerings.
**Reporting & Analytics**:
- Track and analyze business development metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on progress and outcomes.
- Use data to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement.
**What We’re Looking For**
**Must-Have**:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development goals and sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with experience planning and executing events, both in-person and online.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
**Nice-to-Have**:
- Experience in AI/ML or enterprise software sales.
- Familiarity with industries like finance, healthcare, or telecom.
- Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Background in working with or selling technical products and solutions.
- Experience managing virtual event platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Hopin.
