**Duties & Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure adherence to all financial and accounting systems and practices that comply with international and locally accepted financial/ accounting principles, regulations, practices, local laws, internal regulations

2. Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports.

3. Review all the petty cash re-imbursement from outlets as well as all other departments.

4. Follow procedures and controls in the Finance department. Ensure that all financial control and management reporting transactions are in compliance with the set policies and procedures

5. Under the supervision of the Head of Financial Accounting manage the production of the Annual Report and Accounts and the associated supporting evidence and reconciliations, working with the Head of Financial Accounting and others to ensure that the organization receives a clean audit report

7. Reviewing all the payments to suppliers and employees, and verifying the authenticity of the documents.

8. Supervise the subordinate staffs to complete the books of accounts.

9. Responsible for ensure the integrity of the data held within the finance systems and the security of the related data entry processes

10. Through preparation / review (as appropriate) of balance sheet / control accounts reconciliations, ensure the balances reported in the financial statements are complete and accurate

11. Take lead in recommending improvements to financial accounting / transaction processes of the organization

12. Mange the fixed assets register of the organization

13. Take the lead in ensuring that any internal or external audit management letter points relevant to the Financial Accounting function are cleared on a timely and appropriate basis

14. Ensure that key financial processes are properly documented and updated and reviewed regularly with a view to achieving improvements and efficiencies

16.Assist in reconciliation of all concerned systems, accounts, sub-ledgers, etc.

17. Maintain close links with the IT department to improve and develop management reporting processes

18. Develop new templates and automation of accounting process

19.Prepare and annual budget templates for the respective divisions and group level consolidation

20. Prepare monthly outlet wise profitability report with comparison to budget

21. Work closely with Group Finance Manager to ensure proper flow of accounting activities.

**Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills**

a) **Education / Qualifications**: University degree in Accounting/Financial Management or Optional professional qualification such as CPA/CA /CMA or CFM

b) **Knowledge**: Knowledge of Financial Statements Analysis, Cash Flow Forecasting, Financial Risk Management,

c) **Experience**: About 8-10 years of related experience

d) **Accreditation / Licensing**: N/A

e) **Generic & Specific Skills**:

- Assets Management
- Arabic Language preferred
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Cost estimation & Analysis

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Arabic (preferred)
