Kemco Technologies has an opening for a Technical Sales Engineer with a background in **chemistry,** **chemical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related**. We are seeking highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial chemists to provide technical support and quality assurance testing to our current and future clients while building new relationships and bolstering current client accounts.

We expect the incumbent to grow business. They would be responsible for creating new business opportunities, planning and organizing daily work, focusing on customer retention and improving customer satisfaction. Periodically, the incumbent is expected to present reports and update databases to show sales volume, potential sales, and status of active pursuits.

**What you will do**:

- Drive business development & market development within the geographical scope for water treatment chemicals as applied to reverse osmosis, cooling towers, boilers, evaporators, chillers, wastewater etc.
- Key local resource to represent the company in all business dimensions
- Coordinate effectiveness of sales and development strategies including ensuring appropriate analysis and action plans are in place
- Identify sales development targets, elaborate and implement appropriate development strategy
- Help / Negotiate contracts with customers. Work with the legal department to prepare the contract. Ensure contract follow up
- Implement actions requested by Customers through the visit reports
- Implement the pricing strategy in coordination with the Accounts/ Finance Team
- Coordinate activities with Technical Support Manager for customers’ service, according to agreed time schedule or as and when required
- Ensure relevant impact of technical presentations, job site trials and development projects

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
- Fluent in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience
- Understanding and interest in water treatment, specifically reverse osmosis technology

**Salary**: BD300.000 - BD500.000 per month
