**Job Description: Store Keeper**
**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of all items in the store, including machinery, tools, and consumables.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- **Material Requests**:
- Prepare and submit material requests for non-returnable and returnable items as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate future inventory needs to avoid shortages.
- **Supplier Coordination**:
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of requested materials.
- Track and manage delivery notes, confirming that received items match orders.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain organized documentation of inventory transactions, material requests, and supplier communications.
- Report regularly to the Procurement Officer regarding stock levels, order statuses, and any issues that arise.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Ensure that all stored items are handled and stored in compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor the condition of stored equipment and consumables, reporting any damaged or expired items.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or supply chain is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role and experienced in a contracting company.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Working Conditions**
- This position may require lifting and moving heavy items.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: BD150.000 - BD175.000 per month
