Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional Administrative Support Specialist to join our Engineering Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department's operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services to staff and students.
- Lead the operational delivery of business processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, regulatory frameworks, and accreditation bodies.
- Manage financial administration processes, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, data entry, and booking travel.
- Support the production of complex written documentation and manage exam administration and quality assurance processes.
- Deliver strategic objectives, including building links with industry and supporting the creation of Industrial Advisory Boards.
As a skilled administrator, you will provide organisational and administrative support to the department's Bahrain programmes, including coordinating induction days, managing student curriculums, and timetabling. You will also administer Board of Examiners meetings and ensure accurate data input into the student record system.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Educated to a minimum Higher National Certificate (HNC) level education in a relevant subject.
- Proven experience as an administrator in a similar environment.
