About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Abroad Work's fine dining restaurant in Manama. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and prepare menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  2. Sourcing high-quality ingredients and managing inventory effectively.
  3. Train and supervise a skilled kitchen team, ensuring they follow best practices in food safety and sanitation.
  4. Create innovative dishes that reflect your expertise in international cuisine.
  5. Ensure seamless execution of all food orders while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  6. Maintain and report any issues with kitchen equipment.
  7. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
  2. Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Mediterranean flavors.
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a positive work environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills with effective interaction with guests, suppliers, and team members.
  6. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $1200 per month
