The Bakery Team at RESO is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Commis (Bakery) - Intercontinental Bahrain.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for baking and presentation. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the kitchen, creating high-quality and creative bakery products, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key duties include:
* Assisting in the preparation and presentation of baked goods
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
* Adhering to health, safety, and HACCP regulations
* Collaborating with the Executive Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* 2-3 years of experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef in a bakery environment
* Proficiency in local rules and regulations involving Health, Safety, and HACCP
* Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs (23 kg)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
