Job Overview:

As a Store Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supervising the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that all areas are professionally managed and organized, and maintaining a high degree of customer care, quality, and cost control measures. You will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the retail store and managing team members to achieve sales goals and exceed budgeted targets.

About the Role:

  • Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop, driving sales, and keeping costs in line with expectations.
  • Forecast sales and focus on productivity to meet sales goals.
  • Achieve total sales ahead of budget and exceed budgeted managed contribution.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers and provide insights to improve store performance.
  • Maintain a strong leadership presence in the store, ensuring excellent customer service and quality merchandise.
  • Coach and guide staff on product knowledge and upcoming new products.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports as required.
  • Perform monthly inventory and monitor stock levels as needed.
  • Responsible for ordering stocks and weekly replenishment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all merchandise calendar direction, sales marketing, and promotions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to company standards.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the same industry and stay up-to-date on forthcoming customer preferences.
  • Manage and control damages and loss in the store.
  • Comply with all SOPs as detailed in the operation manual.
  • Maintain discipline in the store at all times.
  • Maintain peaceful relationships within the team and promote camaraderie.
  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing training opportunities to the team as needed.
  • Support all team members to reach their full potential and create opportunities for career development.
  • Work within established guidelines and policies for training and development.
  • Demonstrate desired behaviors for staff, including driving sales, handling difficult or complicated sales, and following up with customers.
  • Maintain strict levels of confidentiality regarding all areas of the business, particularly commercial information and personal details of employees.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  • Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge in Team Management.
  • Good financial skills and Business Acumen (P&L).
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills.
