About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to oversee the kitchen section, ensuring seamless execution of chef recipes and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent cooking skills, knowledge of various methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.

  • Fully responsible for their dedicated section, including adherence to Health & Safety policies.
  • Supervise and train Demi and Commis in daily tasks, aligning them with operational standards.
  • Maintain high standards by ensuring subordinates follow internal policies and procedures.
  • Participate in subordinate development, fostering growth and expertise.
  • Knowledgeable about Allergens Matrix, restaurant guidelines, and chemicals policy.
  • Promote a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and constructive feedback.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure their section always contains fresh food and label products before refrigeration.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and adhere to checklists.
  • Rotate stock food in the fridge and perform line checks before every service.
  • Stay up-to-date on kitchen equipment and ensure efficient use.
  • Provide detailed handovers to colleagues and communicate maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie.
  • Exceptional cooking techniques, ingredient knowledge, and equipment proficiency.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
