Job Title: Security & Safety Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security & Safety Supervisor to join our team.

  1. Supervise and oversee the activities of security personnel, ensuring they operate within established guidelines.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security incidents, employee performance, and training programs.
  3. E nsure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
  4. Foster strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement security protocols to ensure the safety and security of staff, assets, and premises.
  2. Develop and implement training programs for security personnel, scheduling regular evaluations and assessments.
  3. Assess and analyze the performance of security personnel, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  4. Initiate disciplinary measures when necessary, ensuring fairness and consistency in decision-making.
  5. Provide security services to office staff, buildings, and properties, maintaining a secure environment at all times.
  6. IDentify and mitigate potential risks, developing and implementing preventative measures against accidents, thefts, and other hazards.
  7. E nsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a high level of security and safety awareness.
  8. Collaborate with external agencies, such as the police and fire service, to address security concerns and ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.
  9. Support and assist the security team in their daily activities, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  10. Monitor and manage security systems, equipment, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  11. Manage the performance of individual security team members, providing coaching, guidance, and support to enhance job satisfaction and productivity.
  12. Foster effective communication between the security department and other organizational units, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  13. Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  14. Assist in developing plans and strategies for security activities, ensuring a proactive and responsive approach to security challenges.
  15. Provide support and assistance to other departments on security-related issues, promoting a culture of cooperation and collaboration.
  16. Collaborate with team members as needed, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
