This role is responsible for procuring items, ensuring timely delivery to designated locations and managing the disposal of assigned assets. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Receive and process purchase orders and contracts in a timely manner.">">
  • Monitor and action purchase requests in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.">">
  • Provide technical advice to ensure competitive deals are achieved.">">
  • Respond to supplier inquiries in a timely manner.">">
  • Evaluate RFQs/RFPs and prepare reports for negotiations.">">
  • Conduct market research and cost analysis.">">
  • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.">">
  • Engage with the Legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements.">">
  • Manage contract lifecycle, including tracking obligations and renewals.">">
  • Identify potential issues and recommend solutions.">">
  • Manage relationships with end-user departments and suppliers.">">
  • Process vendor registration requests.">">
  • Assist in supplier pre-qualification.">">
  • Address vendor relation matters.">">
  • Implement procurement procedures and controls.">">
  • Continuously improve procurement policies and processes.">">
  • Ensure compliance with conflict-of-interest and confidentiality policies.">">
  • Operate ERP/e-sourcing solutions and reporting tools.">">
  • Assist in data collection and reporting of departmental KPIs.">">
  • Maintain procurement contract repository.">">

Qualifications and Experience

">

Candidates should hold a degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, finance, or related field. Relevant procurement experience is preferred, but not essential.

CIPS Level 2 or above is desirable (or equivalent professional certification).

">

# years' relevant procurement experience is required.

">

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have excellent time management abilities.
