Administrative Finance Specialist

Bank ABC is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Head of Group Finance. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the department and have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
- Managing calendars and coordinating meetings for the Head of Group Finance.
- Providing administrative support to the Group Finance Department, including tasks such as holidays, resource planning, attendance tracking, and progress monitoring.
- Assisting in daily monitoring of standard reports and escalating issues as necessary.
- Compiling financial reports and assisting in budget/forecast preparation.
**Administrative Tasks:**
- Facilitating meetings, identifying action points, and tracking progress.
- Preparing background information for meetings of the Head of Department.
- Managing calendars, tasks, and email priorities for the Head of Department and business travel for the Finance and Strategy departments.
- Updating department procedures manuals as needed and reviewing quarterly with the team.
- Managing archiving and storage of department documents according to agreed standards.
**Reporting and Presentation Requirements:**
- Monitoring department expenses each month and escalating significant items.
- Assisting in daily monitoring of CBB RWA/Balance sheet and other tasks following well-defined processes.
- Preparing monthly processes for Statistical returns, month-end P&L transfers, and expenses by department, following established procedures.
- Participating in the Annual Report preparation process, responsible for layout and proofreading assigned sections.
- Supporting in preparing/editing PowerPoint presentations for management.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience:**
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a bank or financial institution in a similar role.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance or a similar field.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, essential.
- Good analytical ability.
- Proactive ability to act independently and capable of multitasking.
- Prioritizing workload to meet strict deadlines.
