Job Description:

The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed
electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans
used for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves translating design concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with engineers and site teams to support the smooth execution of electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare
    detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans
    using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Create
    visual guidelines
    and technical documentation for construction and installation teams.
  • Draft
    technical details
    , including dimensions, materials, and installation procedures.
  • Support engineers in the
    design and development
    of electrical systems and ensure accuracy in all technical documentation.
  • Supervise the installation and repair
    of electrical systems and equipment as required.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure drawings are properly implemented on site.
  • Maintain drawing records, revisions, and updates as per project requirements.
  • Ensure all drafting work complies with
    company standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations
    .

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
    in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
    as an Electrical Draftsman in construction, MEP, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD
    ,
    Revit
    , and other relevant CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of
    electrical systems, layouts, and schematics
    .
  • Knowledge of
    local electrical codes and standards
    is an advantage.

  • Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
