Job Description:

  • Prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates and construction budgets.
  • Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost control throughout all project phases.
  • Assess, manage, and reconcile variations and contractual claims.
  • Prepare interim payment applications and final account statements.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, legal standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Evaluate and process change orders, with clear cost and schedule implications.
  • Calculate material and labor quantities for procurement and planning.
  • Track project progress and prepare reports comparing actual work completed against planned schedules.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in quantity surveying for civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, etc.) and cost management principles.
  • Proficient in quantity surveying software such as WinQS, CCS, CostX, or similar.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
